I founded my lawyer coaching and consulting business in 2009, after three decades as a transactional lawyer and proven business generator. As a large firm partner for 25 years, I am uniquely positioned to advise lawyers practicing in today’s challenging competitive environment and in a profession undergoing dramatic structural and cultural change.
I believe that all 21st-century lawyers require extensive business, relationship building, and other practical skills training in order to prosper. Unfortunately, these skills are rarely addressed in-depth at law school or in most law firms.
I provide career coaching services to law firms, lawyers, law schools and law students, with a particular focus on the skills essential for business development. My clients include young partners committed to building a book of business, more experienced partners interested in growing their practices or addressing mid-career challenges, and associates at all levels of experience. In addition, I consult to lawyers building careers in corporate in house departments and those who have chosen JD advantaged career paths.
